Hardwood pine forests cover one-half of the State. major rivers—Arkansas, Ouachita, Red, White—offer recreation navigation as they drain toward Mississippi River, which forms State’s eastern border. Smaller streams rivers, reservoirs, rice fields serve homes for wildlife well, including birds migrating along Flyway.Agriculture has always been a key industry in Arkansas, is top producer United States. Poultry, soybeans, cotton, cattle, timber are among other agricultural products that contribute economy. aquaculture diversified from just goldfish more than 20 species fish crustaceans.Geological features include waterfalls, limestone caves, country’s only active diamond mine, Crater Diamonds State Park, where visitors can keep any rock or mineral find volcanic crater. Hot Springs Park—within city Springs—features thermal springs water heated deep belowground follow fault line surface.Here few ways Landsat benefited Arkansas.
